Bulgogi Brothers - Greenbelt 5

I've never given a poor review to a Bistro Group Restaurant - until now. It was my first time trying Bulgogi Brothers and it was a disappointing experience to say the least. I should have trusted my instincts and read the reviews for this branch. If there ever was a reason why their landline was not working, it must be because they wanted to avoid the complaints from their disappointed customers. So we had to personally go to the store ahead of time to make a reservation. After talking to the manager at the store entrance to have a table for 6 people reserved, he assured us that he will get a table ready for our 7pm appointment. Things took a downward spiral from that point as another manager advised us that they do not take any reservations and that they assigned us to a table outside the store which did not have the grill/induction cooker. I had a hunch that they will not be very accommodating but decided to give them a chance. I am regrettably, still haunted by this decision. And take note that we visited on a Sunday evening when there were not a lot of customers. Here's a summary of their exemplary service: - We had to wait 30 minutes for the food to be delivered to our table - We had to beg for them to refill the drinks and side dishes - We had to keep our hands raised until our shoulders were numb in order for them to notice - We were given a pitcher of Iced Tea and was advised to just use that to refill our drinks - We had to go to the cash register to settle the bill in order to avoid wasting time Food was nothing spectacular - all items are available in every other Korean BBQ restaurant. Getting the steamed egg messed up takes exceptional skill. It is therefore no wonder that the store is conveniently confined at the 3rd level of Greenbelt 5. Avoid this branch at all costs. You and your family deserve better and the other Bistro Group restaurants will most definitely be a better choice.

We tried their unli and it was okay. They only offered 4 types of meats and it was on the fatty side so definitely easy to feel oily fast when eating. Their sides was just 6 and they had soup and steamed egg that I found too peppery. If i do come back here, I think I'd rather go for their single order menu items. Also the service was slow, there was one server that was really trying his best to keep up with service with the amount of people coming in for lunch.

Worst experience so far with a Bistro Group restaurant. Servers seem to try their best but the restaurant is severely under-staffed. Set-for-2 meals arent worth it, overpriced at 1.1k (see photo). Took a long time for our orders to arrive, and food came one at a time every 10-15mins. Numerous follow-ups as well for side dishes until somebody from our group loses appetite. I would not recommend dining here - a disappointment to the Bistro Group

We went there to avail of a decent discount c/o one of my credit cards. It wasn't crowded that time so we were able to seat right away. We ordered several items in order to meet the min spend requirement of the promo. It was really plenty, but all of them tasted really good. Sulit kumbaga. Staff were really friendly and accomodating. Hopfull I will be able to visit this again in the future.

Very disappointing coming from a bistro group! We availed the unli promo. We're aware that we'll cook our own food for this but we were asked to move tables from time to time because the griller on our table won't work. The staff offered to cook the meat for us but the service is unbearable. We had to ask for a couple of times to be served for side dishes, water, and the meat. Eventually, we just got full having only two full servings because the wait is too long. We know the service charge is automatically computed but it won't cut the bad service from this branch. They only have two staff and even the manager is seen cooking the meat OUTSIDE the kitchen. Not recommended and will never go back!

Found a Korean restaurant without the common long waiting lines. I'm talking about this branch at Greenbelt 5 which for some reason is at the third floor next to expensive art galleries and artsy furniture shops where very few people visit. This worked out well for us as this meant a quieter and more peaceful ambiance. Ordered pork samgyupsal and pork bibimbap. Both came with 6 side dishes including dilis and sweet corn cob, both my favorites. Pork samgyupsal was just as I expected, lightly glazed, tender and delicious. The bibimbap was a surprise, I didn't know they serve it on a hot bowl. I needed to continuously mix the rice or else it will be overcooked to a crisp. Portion was huge also in fact I wasn't able to finish mine. We might not have bought art pieces that day but we surely had yummy pork pieces.
